Flowmeters.ph is pleased to announce the fabrication and testing of its new flow rig in Binangonan, Rizal.

The test was performed using a highly accurate K Meter magmeter with Kolas certification. K-meter is also able to supply flowmeters with ILAC certification, which means we have international traceability if required.  Training was provided to certain individuals unfamiliar with magnetic flowmeter installations in the Philippines. Of first importance was proper grounding techniques and zero flow calibration. Once this was achieved, we were on our way to ramping up the flow rates to almost 40 m3/hr, down to 11 m3/hr and back down to zero. Both the electromagnetic meter and EESIFLO clamp on ultrasonic meter performed well by the fact that almost reading was within an acceptable margin of uncertainty.

Although both meters are not the cheapest meters on the market, there are definite advantages in using them. One of the main advantages is the longevity of the products and the minimised drift of the products throughout their life span.
